The EOS Process® Overview
The Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) – developed by Gino Wickman, author of Traction – was first conceived as a method for helping entrepreneurial leadership teams get more accountability, a shared vision, and a healthier team dynamic.
Today, tens of thousands of companies are using the EOS approach to help generate breakthrough growth.
- The typical engagement lasts 24 months, depending on the dynamic of your team and the nature of your implementation.
- While most clients “graduate” from EOS, there are some who choose to engage an Implementer longer.
- Following the 90 Minute Meeting a Focus Day is scheduled. Focus Days are typically off-site. At the Focus Day we address five topics: Leadership, Accountability Chart, Scorecard, Rocks and Meeting Pulse. The day is typically 6–8 hours long.
- Following the Focus Day, a small amount of homework is assigned during the 30-day period prior to the next session day, called Vision Building 1 (VB1). At this session we reflect back on the Focus Day and begin to work on the Vision Traction Organizer (V/TO) answering the “8 Big Questions.” Again, the session is typically 6–8 hours.
- We reconvene 30 days later and complete our work in Vision Building (VB2).
